Susan was born in Slovenia and has been compelled to paint and draw for most of her life. She has explored different mediums, techniques, compositions and subject matter and focuses on contemporary and sometimes abstract interpretations of the natural world. Her images which include florals, landscapes and still life are inspired by observing nature’s wonders on the beautiful Sunshine Coast and by her travels throughout Canada and Europe.Her paintings express a love for bright, vibrant colors and her hope is they will create a joyful bond with the viewer.
