I was born and grew up in British Columbia, Canada and raised in a family committed to enjoyment of the beauty of the Pacific Northwest ocean and forests. I began painting shortly after retiring to the Sunshine Coast and have developed my skills in Watercolour, Acrylics and Pastels.
I maintain a studio Mi Cielo on the Sechelt Inlet where I now live with my partner of 25 years. I am a mother of two, proud grandmother to eight.
Daily I am out kayaking or in my working boat fishing for crab and prawns and enjoy sharing the bounty with family, friends and neighbours.
The joy of living in an area surrounde by the wonders of nature is reflected in my use of bright luscious colours in all mediums. My works are in collections locally and abroad and are representative of my love of life and our wonderful West Coast lifestyle.
