Jan Poynter finds joy in painting on location whenever possible.
With an interest in a broad range of subjects, from architecture to botanical, coastal and mountain landscapes. Her fascination with light, shadow & color provides endless challenge and experimentation with several media, working in Acrylic, Watercolor or Oil.
Jan’s new works include a series of custom cut original paintings on Aluminum panel, collections of plein air landscape studies from recent travel and bright sunlit reflections on the sea.
