Diana Starbuck was born in Toronto, and has been a painter for most of her life. Although mainly self taught, she has enjoyed and appreciates the benefits of attending various workshops and lessons given by other artists, knowing that we all have our own way of expressing our own creativity . Whether enjoying daily walks on the Gibsons seawall with her black lab Roy, or riding her horse through the forests of Roberts Creek she is inspired by both the dramatic forest and seaside scenery; and also her popular Pet Portraits reflect her love of animals !
